Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH) 2014 is open to public starting today - May 08, 2014. Last May 6, it was an exclusive event for celebrities, bloggers, socialites and whoever gets the invite.
YESTERDAY, it was for US - people who received an email or text message for the invite. I didn't get one; but my friend did and he can invite two other guests and just need to respond to the mail he received. He included my name along with his other friend which I didn't know at first. He only mentioned that to me when I told him about the MYOH to be held in Glorietta on May 8th. We were so lucky, our schedule matched and we can go to this private event / invite.
After work, we headed to Starbucks - Insular Tower for breakfast and I had to meet a friend for business purposes and also my boyfriend. Then 15 minutes after 10am, we went to the event. The line wasn't long, it was an easy step and people were accommodating.
Still the same process how it works, how you can avail a new pair of Havaianas - you can choose from their color wheel. Just like the last time I attended the same event but that was year 2008, if I am not mistaken - it was held at Rockwell Tent.
There were 23 pins to choose from as well.
Did I forgot to mention about their really nice Photo Wall?
What's more fun is that their staffs are nice and easy to talk to. We even have some photos taken with them.
Of course, we had them take our photo too.
I didn't get one for myself as I'm not into Havaianas flip flops this year, but I've got one for my brother. My friend - Dennis, bought himself the red sole with metallic strap and the remaining one with neon green strap is for his best friend. (L-R)
Upon payment, you will receive the "make your wish come true" as I call it bracelet when you purchase the commemorative pair (which is on both sides of the photo above).
If I remember it right, Commemorative pair costs 995php and each pin costs 100php. Go grab yours NOW! They'll be open for public until May 11, 2014. You can give your Mom a present for this coming Mother's Day.
Joining this event made me a "Happy Havaianatico".
xoxo, Roxy
